Here's the deal. I've replaced my rearend and converter recently....actually I'm just about to finish it up! When I removed the old converter I tilted the transmission back a litte (10 degrees or so). When I installed the new converter (Yank SS3600) I filled it with 1 quart of transmission fluid. During the whole process I didn't lose a drop of fluid (nothing from the converter and nothing from the lines).
I plan on adjusting the fluid level...well not me as there is no way in hell I'm getting under that car while it is running so the new cam I installed shakes the car off of the jack stands and ruins my day.
Anyway, aside from the addition of the tranny cooler how much fluid can I expect to be low? I would expect that I'm spot on at the moment, but I want to be sure.
I'll have to drive the car to somewhere with a rack so they can adjust it.
