new gear and noise
I just had 4.10 gear installed, the nosie is unbeliveable,the shifter shacks and you can here the noise at the shifter and fill the vibration thru the shifter and it sounds like a grinding noise in the rear end. It was installed by a reparable shop that has done the swap before. Was told all tolerances were in specs and he even admits it to loud, their going to take it back apart. Was also told all after market gears make some noise. What are your thoughts on noise form after market gear noise? Well at lease their going to take care of it.
