HELP!! codes p0622, 1637 charge system fault
have these codes with charge system. Checked the alternator and found only 5.5v output at the terminal. replaced the unit and same readings. Checked starter, wires good and tight. Replacing alternator with original. New battery. What is wrong???? Where do i go from here?

Charging Problem
Hi, one item to check is the connections to the PCM, for cleanliness and in properly. You should disconnect the battery when removing and replacing these connectors. It is located in the pass side wheelwell, and can be accessed by removing the filler panel. Of course all other connections need to be clean and tight also, both sides of the battery, and starter, the alt connections including the smart wire. The wires from the starter to the alt go through 2 fusible links, check them for continuity.

has anyone?? ever had these codes? Its obvious that the pcm isnt allowing the alternator to charge. I have had high voltage come across
in the past few months also. Has anyone had experience with this same symptom? And what have you done to correct?
