Default tigershark help!

I have finally decided to do the tigershark front end!
Before I place my order, I have two questions:

1) What is the best intake to use with the tigershark front? I have read several threads about this, and I am still not pleased with my choices as I am a huge fan of the vararam which as far as I know, cannot be used with the tigershark kit. Has anyone fabricated any c6 intakes to work with this?

2) Are the grills removeable, and has anyone gotten them chromed?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Your right the Vararam will not work since you dont have the factory ducts any more. I use a black wing and have been very happy with it so far. As you seen the nose of the tigershark kit is wide open so you have all the air you need hitting it. Also the grills are removable but I havent seen where anyone has had them chromed I have seen a few painted and a few with LED bars behind it but thats about it.

The grills are installed after you have the bumper painted so a chrome process I guess can be done. Would have to be stripped of the black paint of course first.
I am using the K&N FIPK on mine but it fits like stock so not much different. Also, I removed the large front portion of the radiator shroud to allow more fresh air to feed the filter. Not perfect but a bit more functional.
Unfortunately the front crash bar is darn near positioned right behind the large central grill section else it would make a nice area for a custom air box.
