c5 rear tire size
What is the largest tire in the rear that you can install on a c5 where the tire will not protrude beyond the fender well? I am running z06 black motorsport wheels with I think a 57 mm offset.... they are supposed to be similiar to the stock z06 wheel. wheels are 18 by 10.5. Im running nitto 555r extremes 305 35 18 at the moment.They do not stick out.... These 305's seem big in comparison to other tires similiar in numerical size as far as sectional and tread width though. Any thoughts? Ready to buy new back tires! Thanx again

315's on 11" wide wheels is about all you can do before they start to stick out. You can tub the rear and put 345's on 12" wheels if that's what you would like. Otherwise you could get the L5 rear body fender flares with the Z06 mud skirts to widen up the stance a bit.
I have 295's on C6 wheels 10" wide. I have a 32mm spacer on them so they are flush with the fender now. Looks pretty sweet.
