More clutch issues
My stock LS1 clutch (2001; ~33K miles) is starting to act up. After any high rpm use > 5K; the pedal will try to stick & the engagement point gets very close to the floor. Lower the rpms for just a few seconds and it returns to normal. I am in the process of trying the Ranger trick and changing out the clutch fluid. I drained the master cylinder, and wiped out all of the sludge; refilled; pumped the clutch ~ 30 times; repeat, repeat, repeat, etc. The fluid is clearer but not quite clean. after refilling for the 4th time, I noticed that you can actually see the dirty fluid seeping up from the slave into the master. I have 2 questions:
1.) How many times do I need to go through this process of drain and refill?
2.) Given the power level that I am at a new clutch is probably in my future; will an LS7 clutch assy take the HP & Torque?
TIA
