Torrington on both sides...interesting...how would this help?
I've read where the LS1 cam sometimes has a tendency to 'walk' forward and rub against the cam plate. This setup would literally lock the cam in place.
FWIW, I've had my cam plate out three times. I never saw any evidence that the cam made contact with the plate.
Bob, I've heard that gear drive setups can play havoc with knock sensors. Is there any info regarding this setup with them?

They are saying it is quiet but the jury is still out. A few guys on the Australian boards are going to try it. I thought it was an interesting design and the use of the double Torrringtons caught my eye as well as the way the cam gear installs as two pieces with full adjustability. I will stick with the chain though.
