Well I got everything back together and running on my new motor and everything is fine except for the sticky clutch.
I checked my resivore and it was completly empty and I noticed about every 15 seconds fluid would drop on the header on the drivers side and smoke. Im guessing its the little gold connector that goes to the slave? Is there an O-Ring that could get pinched or do I maybe just not have it all the way snapped together? THanks
The connector is only one place it could leak from. It could also be leaking from a crack in the resivoir bottom, or even from the steel braded line (happened to a buddy). Also check where the tube connects to the resivoir.
I'd put the front of the car up, and spray brake cleaner on all parts of the line from the res., to down past the connector and make sure it's good and clean. Fill the res up, put the cap on, and have someone press the cluch pedal in and out. You should be able to observe the leak from underneath, or above.
