Default Fidanza Twin

Anyone running the Fidanza twin? I am looking at this clutch, and would like to get some real world feedback. Mods are in sig below, and I drive the car on the street a lot.

TIA

I'm in the throws of reasearching twins and singles after my first twin crapped out on me. Sure they'll stand behind it, but it'll cost me my forth of july weekend to remove it or $1000 at a shop.

THey all seem to have slipping issues one way or another. Seems the manufacturers can't get the pressure plate "teeth" in the right position to fully release the clamping force.

I'm going to have to take my car apart to remove the defective product and make a decision on weather or not I can trust them to correct their product before I put it all back together.

I just dont think the technoledgy is available for these guys to produce a bulletproof multi disc clutch design. I will never be a prooving ground for a new product again, if they just released it, it WILL have problems.

Is this the Fidanza you are having problems with or another manufacturer?

I know of 2 people running the McLeod twin with NO issues at all, and one of them is over 700 RWHP. The Fidanza has been available for over a year and their test car was an 800 RWHP twin turbo.

I am just trying to see if anyone on here has used or is using this setup. The price is right, at just ofer $ 1K including the aluminum flywheel from one of the supproting vendors. The cost savings will cover the cost of upgrading the hydraulics and adding a remote bleeder

Anyone know it the bellhousing needs to be removed, or just the inspection over?

Not sure if you saw this thread, but a PM to Pumba as a follow-up might provide you some useful information. Link

I am having problems with another manufacturer; however in looking into more options and doing research on them, there are multiple twin disc manufacturers that are having problems, one is very highly touted here.

Admittedly, I havn't herd squat about fidenza other than what was posted above.
