Any recent feedback on Hurst shifter?
Hopefully someone has this product installed by now and has some feedback. Or is it still at the factory being improved upon?

That thing better be good for all the hype it's getting and it's STILL nowhere to be seen. I'm days away from buying a Ripper, if Hurst wants my business, it's down to the 11th hour. Let's hope we get some response.

The C5 Hurst shifter will be out shortly, by the end of January. The coater didn't properly protect the sticks for shipping, and so most went back for re-coat. The factory is ready and waiting to assemble them ASAP. Some early units made it through and will be in customers' hands the second week of January.

The way I see it, for $160 - $180 bucks, why not just get whats available now. If (when) the Hurst finally comes out, and it turns out to be that much better, just get it. In the mean time, you can enjoy the benefits of a Kirban or Ripper.

Hold on... It has been a long time coming but Chris said earlier that some customers will receive them THIS WEEK!! ... if not in their hands as we speak. The few that made it thru manufacturing were nearly completely done, just final assembly and ready to ship!
Whoever has received them... I'm begging... please give us your impressions on the shifter. If you just got it today and didn't have time to install it yet... at least give us some initial impressions on build quality.
I am not kidding... if you guys that have them can tell me this shifter is the quietest with no rattle, that the shifter beats all others with flying colors, I will make it my next mod to buy!
We were discussing it on the Z forum and people were being sarcastic but I'm sure the reason we didn't get any feedback from Hurst owners is because we didn't post on the right forum.

Yeah, those Z06 guys are something else... Just hang in there guys, the truck didn't leave until 1/4. The (early) shifters arrived at Mr. Gasket's distribution center TODAY. They're heading out to me today, and I expect to have them to the end users by the end of next week. It's only a few and they have been spoken for. The actual retail release won't occur for a couple more weeks due to some problems in shipping protection from the coater.
