Head/Cam swap complete
Took about 3 days working from 7-11 and all day today. Just got her started 10 minute ago. It's in reduced power mode and Service T/C (gotta figure out that one) but it's runs with perfect oil pressure, no knocking, ect. I didn't wanna run it too long tonight, so vids in the morning.
Dad cleaning the block surface. I COULD NOT have finished this with out him. He's never touched a C5 and was 2 pages a head in the manual. Apparently LS1's carried over alot of SBC stuff, which he knows forwards and backwards:

Then I got lazy from the lifters to the finished motor:
