Having troubles at the strip - help!
Hi...
I am having troubles at the strip. I think I need tires for the track really bad! I got the car up to 328Hp from the stock 290Hp and the stock 18's are just too hard! Was @ the track yesterday & couldnt hook to save my life... I spin ALOT the first 1/8th - second 1/8th it finally hooks & hauls ***. I got eliminated 1st round (at least it was by a Chevy
) I ran 13.123 @ 107.96mph / Chevelle ran 12.258 @ 88.76mph. From a review of the timeslips, it Has to be the tires? My 60ft times are 2.0XX, 330 5.XX, and It hooks by the 1/8th.
Suggestions?
