Default Need some new shocks.

After 117,000 miles, it's time for some new shocks on my Z51 equipped supercar.

What would be a good replacement shock for my car, which is mostly highway driven?

Saw his post. Wasn't sure if they would fit or not. Thanks for the clarification!

Many guys here are happy with the C6Z shocks, which are far less expensive than the '04 C5Z shock.

I went with Bilstein Sports on my FRC and have been very pleased with the performance. I got them from Randy@DRM--good price and great service.

Of course, everyone tends to advocate what they purchase, but you can try some searching for reviews on the choices available.

I have the C6Z shocks and think they work great. I know some people don't like them. I like Bilsteins from my other cars but never had them in a vette. But how can you go wrong with Z shocks for the price Gene sells them for.

Koni FSD's. I switched from Bilstein Sports. The Dual stage system is pretty neat. Gives you the soft cushy quality over bumps etc, but firms up during braking/cornering etc. There's a reason they're used OEM on the Gallardo. But they're pricey.
