Does anyone have experience with getting a sponser for a corvette club? What do you offer them ? What are you charging? Any sponser packages?

Looking to pick up some sponsers for our club and was wondering what other clubs are doing?

Our primary sponsor is the local Chev dealer that sells the most Vettes. They give us a couple of thousand bucks a year, a discount on parts for our members, a nice open house once a year, and we buy our cars from them and have them serviced there. Everyone is happy. :yesnod:

The trick is to get as many members as you can and get them all a newsletter each month. "Sponsors" are unfortunately basically advertisers so they need to know that their "ad" will be in front of faces on a regular basis.

Our club has a local dealership, a few local repair shops, along with several local generic businesses.

Our club puts the sponsor's name on trophies at our show each year and they carry a full page ad in our newsletter. We have offered to have an informal show at their dealership so they can advertise it and bring people in. We are currently going through the same process right now for the Corvette Caravan that will happen in 2003. I know you are in Mass, whereabouts? We had one dealer in Salem contact us about the caravan rather then the other way around.

We do the same as mentioned. The local Chevy dealer ship sponsers us. We get $1000 at the first of the year and we also have a NCCC judged show there once a year to go with his big sale. He pays for the trophies at that show along with T-shirts for workers and cars and $500 in cash. We also send out a monthly news letters and in the back of the news letters are local groups that give us a 1 time a year check for $50. This includes resturants, auto parts stores, saleasman from other dealerships, gas stations, insurance companies etc... basically anyone who has a service can be approached as this is seen by many people and everyone needs food insurance, gas, etc.
If doing this also consider advertising other clubs shows or functions they will do the same in return and this will be an easier sell to anyone interested
