car no start-o...
OK, so I've had the car not start for a couple months now off and on. I carry my #2 pencil in the car for eraser work on the chip part, and that works for the most part but it's getting to the point where every other time I get in the car I have to wait about 2 minutes trying to get it to start.
WHen it does this it doesn't turn over, the security light flashed with the key in on position. Every once in a while I'll get a 'pull key wait 10 sec'
The chip connection IS the problem, what's the next step??? Do I get the key replaced? Replace the key switch??? I'm ready to just fix it, it's embarassing and with my AC compressor not working that well I gotta get in the car and get going to beat the HEAT!

any idea how much that'll run me, or how hard it is to install?
I'll be getting the HUD stuff soon and I'll have the dash apart for that, is it easily accessible during that process? Thanks!

Get a tune and disable the VATS, you'll gain hp and solve your ignition problem at the same time! Why pay for a new ignition and/or key when you can solve the issue and put that money towards a tune. JMO.
