I had the same problem, squeaks coming from the right rear. I put new shocks on last winter, so my 1st thought was shocks. I got my brother to push down on the car to make it squeak , grabbed the shock and the squeaking stopped. I then pulled the shock and tightened it up, put it back in, no more squeak.
I got the outer tie rods replaced and greased everything I could and still have the creaking. I have to take it in for an alignment maybe they can find out what it is.
I had the same issue, especially when the car was hot. After
reading on this forum, unbolted and lubed the sway bar bushings
(very easy to do) and No more squawking. Thanks forum members!
I unbolted the front sway bar bushings, greased them and put them back. The creaking stopped. I did notice that the sway bar area that contacts the rubber bushings had a rough surface like the powder coat had chipped off and caused the squeak. The other side of the sway bar was smooth and did not squeak.
After greasing everything in sight and changing my bad tie rod I still had the creaking, The last thing I checked was the ball joint. The lower ball joint had some up and down movement so I checked to see if the nut was loose and got about two turns out of it. Took the car for a ride and creaking is gone.
