LS6 intake is good after you do headers and some type of air induction (vararam, stinger, etc.) It is usually good for 10hp at the rear wheels, sometimes 15 depending on the setup.

99, then you have the old style intake manifold and the newer LS6 will help. But, not a lot by its self.

Your profile is the thing that comes up if you click on your screen name on the left side of the thread. There are some controls at the top that allow you to fill in details about your self. Knowing what you have others can maybe give you better advice.

Click the "User CP" tab in the red toolbar above. You'll get a list of things you can edit, including your profile. Your profile is very helpful when asking for info on upgrades and repairs, as there are small differences in year models, as well as regional info for your locale.
Hope you have lots of patience, time, and $$$, because once you start modifying, it's very hard to stop!
Don't forget the search feature above too, it can save you (and everyone else) alot of time trying to gather info.
Welcome aboard! Good luck with your C5!
