Disable TPMS - updates?
Okay, I ordered some wheels from a vendor, but they failed to mention that they don't include the $120 TPMS. Of course since they sold them as wheels for the Corvette, I assumed they would include them. They instead just conveniently forgot to mention it. So now I have wheels with tires mounted and balanced on the way, but no TPMS in them. I'd prefer to not dismount all 8 tires that I'll have so that I can put the TPMS in right now. Is there a way to temporarily tune out the TPMS (using HPtuners or any other hack/bypass) until I end up changing the tires? I know the answer used to be $80 to have the dealer tune it out with Tech2. Please don't let that be the answer. That sucks.

You can take the TPMS out of your old wheels, then mount them in a PVC pipe with caps on both ends. Make sure the seal is good, then fill the pipe with air to the desired psi and place in car.
