I have had my C5 for a few months but I have noticed that I have a problem with the drivers seat in as much as it tends to move fore and aft very slightly on the seat track under acceleration and braking. Its pretty annoying as my C5 is a manual trans so obviously you have to be careful shifting.I have to have the seat a little further foward than I would like because of the movement. Thanks for any suggestions.
The only thing I did different was I used a different washer so I didn't have to do so much fitting. The one I used was ACE hardware part # 64973-L. They are much thinner. Use 4 per side per seat.
I plan on calling my extended warranty company to see if the seat track is covered, if it is I will get it done with my Fuel Gauge and loose Parking Brake Assembly. Pictures of what I did can be seen in the link in my signature below.
