Hey guys hope someone is on here who can offer some help .I put new wheels, tires, calipers & rotors on my 98...Looks great but the problem is I cant get the brakes to bleed, I went around twice rr,lr,rf,lf the peddal got good & tite i said alright Im done cranked it up NO pedal have to pump them up...any advice as to what i am doing wrong thanks in advance guys...
I assume that the pedal was better before you started? If so, could be a bleed procedure problem, yet I doubt it beacuse even if there is air in the lines, you'll have pedal pressure, it'll just be spongy...
I dont see any leaks, Definetly no puddles,When I crank the car & step on the brake pedal it is spongy & will go all the way to the floor.I can pump it up but if I stop & then go back to push it again,it goes to the floor..

You have air in the calipers. May have been the MC became dried out when bleeding.
time to do it all over again. Dont let the MC dry out. Keep it full
what about the back ones any particuler side for them? I fill like such a idiot
Blow air into water .... which way do the bubbles go ???? Bubbles (air) go up .... your bleeder valves have to be at the top of the calipers ... front and rear.
Get your calipers oriented in the correct direction ... bleed the system .... what year is your car .... the bleed sequence is different if you have a 2004 versus a 1997 .....
All good man, just get her rolling again. These types of things happen when you do things yourself. In the end you'll have the pride that you did it yourself and the money saved in your pocket.
Ok just switched out the front gonna check the back now thanks to all you guys for helping out a idiot should have took it the stealership huh.
I will let everyone if this fixes the problem again thanks guys
Look at it this way ......
1) You learned something .... and you're not an idiot ... idiots would just go drive the car with bad brakes .... you took the time to ask how to fix something you realized was a problem .... you may lack knowledge ..... that can be fixed ... as Ron White says ..... "you can't fix stupid" ......
2) In the process of learning you also saved yourself several hundreds of dollars over what a stealership would have charged.
3) If you really want to feel good ... mail a check for, say, $10.00 , to your favorite charity ..... you saved a bunch of money, pass on a few dollars to someplace worthwhile.
4) Pour yourself a glass of your favorite libation ... Scotch ... Bourbon .... Beer .... Mountain Dew ...... you had a good day.
Thanks guys....ALL is well...looks great & STOPS great whew....I got a lowering it kit...Almost scared to start that now after the last mishap...anyone now of a good instuctional thread on lowering with the new bolts I can look over before I start or maybe not start & again thanks to my fellow vetters...
ok guys here are a couple of pics of the whole project complete (well at least this one) here are a few more...gonna take some better ones & post soon..
