After much researching and reading, I have come to the conclusion that a 224/224 114lsa cam is the most aggressive I can go while still being able to pass a California Smog sniffer. The only soundclips I have found with this cam do not sound different than stock. However, I have not found a soundclip with this cam that matches my exhaust setup.
I understand that this cam makes great power but I am a little reluctant to drop $1100 (cam, springs, tune) on this project and have it not sound much different than stock. So . . . does anyone have a soundclip of a C5 with LT, catted x-pipe, B&B Bullets, and a 224/224/ 114lsa cam???

Properly done, you can go "bigger" and still pass smog. TM-Z06 is within driving distance (if you had to) to listen to his car and he passed the sniffer. I bet he has a soundclip somewhere though.
