Default Newbie question
My oil pressure gauge is maxing out when I turn the car on, even when the engine isn't on, is this a bad ground? Thanks for the help.

Your oil pressure sensor has failed.

There are THOUSANDS of posts on this issue .... including the "oil sender relocate" sticky at the top of this forum.

Common problem ..... at least you recognized the classic symptom of "high" pressure with the engine off .....
