I have had my Halo LED Tail Lights for 3 years and never had a HyperFlash problem until about 3 weeks ago - now I get it almost every day off and on. I notice on my Battery gauge that it does not seem to matter where it is when I turn on the turn signals - they seem to be fine at ANY voltage unless it starts to vary after they are engaged?
Is something going out in the LEDs or is this something else?
get the flasher bypass harness from richard and you will never have to deal with that problem again.
Received the bypass harness last week (waiting to install it) - just wondered if I could fix the root cause of this first and it might be causing other electrical issues?

even though the halos have the resistor, they do hyperflash from time to time. i had them prior to the harness and i would get hyperflash.
i don't think it's anything you need to worry about. once you get the harness, you can then add LEDs up front.
Installed the harness today and seems to be working well.
One question, I noticed that after installing this harness you can barely hear the flasher clicking when the turn signals are activated (90% less audible that the factory flasher) - is this normal? Since I have a super-sound-deadened C5 this is a great bonus if it is normal behavior.
P.S. - two of the pins in the female plug of my harness were damaged and I could not get the plug to engage in the factory harness initially, but I think I was able to fix them with a micro-screwdriver - at least it appears to be working fine?
