Which Supercharger Is Quietest?
With the expanding selection of SC kits out there, I am curious if anyone has experience on which one would have the lowest level of "blower whine". I am leaning to the Procharger as it allows a stock hood and is intercooled but have not "heard" one.

Going by mustags for an general comparison...
Loudest........ Vortex
2nd Procharger
3rd Powerdyne (dont have a c5 kit and you dont want one of these!)
The roots style like the mag should be the quietest...like the wipple charger for the mustang.
I have only head a procharger on my friends LT1 SS, made 430 wrhp though! stock heads and cam...

I have the Vortech New Quiet S-2 blower. When the proper tension is on the cogged belt, there is virtualy no whine. My car gives no indication whatsoever that it is blown.

I heard the new p1sc by ATI is real quiet and for a stock c5, more horse power than the magnuson and will fit under the stock hood with a with a 3 year warranty. I'm ordering mine wednesday the 2nd unless the venders can change my mined :cheers:

I heard the Magnusson on a new Z06 (with the hood off)
last week and it was unreal how quiet it was.
I have a Magnusson on my Tahoe and the Z06 seemed half as loud
even with the hood off.

With PRT's and Indy's on most cars, I don't think the blower whine will be that noticeable.
On another note, I wonder why there hasn't been a NOVI kit released for the C5?
