Need some help with colum lock
I have a 98 MN6 I got the dreded message on my DNC
I called the dealer they told me the recall had been done to my car = Reprogam only.
So my question is will this work for me:
Q For MN6/M12 cars what can I do if this situation occurs?
A Go into your passenger footwell. Remove your BCM and locate the recall mod relay, remove it and add a jumper wire between the white wire (pin 30) and the orange wire (pin 87). Note that there are two orange wires, so make sure you get the right one!
or is there some thining eles I will have to do

Eric, I pubchased the clb module from COH .I did this fix yesterday on my 03 Z. I didn't do it as you described however. I bought my car new and had it serviced when the recal w/ this peticular problem first came out. I have never had a problem at any time w/ the column lock. I kept reading posts from different forum members that were still having problems, even after the recall was performed. Thats when I decided to correct this by means that seem to be the choice of most forum members that have been there and done that. If you have any questions in regards to this fix, give me a PM. Bob.

Update .. all set got my CLB in from Thunder Racing.
Gave the wheel a couple of shakes back and forth.
The wheel unlocked I proceded with the supplied instructions.
Took me all of 20mins every thing is working fine.
