Default PFADT coilover initial setup??

What's the default setup on these c/o's??

1. shock length
2. spring preload
3. compression adjustment

These were installed on my Z06 I bought recently, the car sits a bit too low

You can do a few things depending on how they were installed.

You can add washers under the mounting plates up top to raise it a bit.

You can turn the lower portion cup to raise it a bit or the spring.

Make sure you remove the end links from the control arms and re-adjust them once you get your height setting corrected.

Hey Steve!

You'll want to adjust the ride height by threading the shock body out of the lower mounting cup. You'll basically loosen the lower lock ring and turn the shock body counter clockwise. If you thread the shock body out 1/4" it will raise the car about 1/2", it's close to a 2 to 1 ratio. The spring pre-load is set by us and you shouldn't need to adjust it at all. It's the unique feature with our coilovers that allows you to retain full shock travel with the desired ride height you're looking for.

If you need specific starting points please feel free to call or email us anytime, we're more than happy to help you get it set up!
