Just to prove that a little knowledge is a bad thing, after my wipers on my 99 FRC went berserk, my friend and I decided to replace the module. Not a difficult job, we set the wipers in mid stroke, disassembled the cowl, removed the wiper transmission assembly and replaced the module which had been thoroughly drowned. We reassembeld the wipers, cowl and wiper arms and reinstalled the fuse.
Time to test...
Wipers turned on, swept the glass in all settings. When turned off, they parked.... STRAIGHT UP. The transmissionacts as if it parks exactly 180 degrees off from where it should. I took the module back off and tried to time the gears, but nothing changed the results.
We have tried everything we can think of, but nothing works. Anyone heard of this issue? I searched the forum, but couldn't find this question.
My was messed up and I put the wipers on delay and shut em down when the motor was at the "Delay park", where it's slightly off the cowl. Then installed the cam llike this;
