Default Trouble Code PO430, What's it mean?

Gotta a new code. Fix one, get another. This says it is "TWC system, low efficiency, bank 2". What does it mean and what does it require to fix it?

Thanks for any help.

Do you have headers? I get P0420 and P0430 from time to time as I have headers and High flow converters. My understanding of the code is that it indicates the cats are not working properly on a stock car. With headers they need to be tuned out. My were not tuned out yet although the car runs very good. If your car is stock, it could indicate a problem with the converter.

Instead of tuning the rears totally out, my tuner readjusted the COT tables for them... Or so he said! I really have no way of verifying that...

The car is a stock c5 Z06 with 55K miles. Had no problems the first 45K but then the water pump went out and the thermostat failed. And in the last 5000 miles it's thrown a lot of codes. I've had the Steering column lock and yaw sensors fail. When I got the codes indicating the EBCM failed I found this site. With the help of the forum I had the EBCM rebuilt by the ABSFixer recommended on ths site, and solved that issue myself. So when I got this code a week after that fix I was....unhappy. Anyone know what a new cat costs? Thanks to all who provide us with information.

You can find used cats from guys that install header systems. Try the parts section and advertise.

Check your owners manual or with dealer - I beleive that CATS and other smog parts are covered under warranty up to 70 or 80000 thousand miles. This includes PCM.
