Gauges don't sweep?
My '99 FRC has a problem.
Everything in the cluster is fine, all of the needles work correctly and the DIC has all of its readouts but the "Corvette by Chevrolet" and guage sweep don't happen.
I found it kind of odd seeing as how all C5's do the routine. Any suggestions?

The Instrument Panel Controller is supposed to do a POST (Power On Self Test) when first powered up ... along with the gauge sweep and the DIC message "Corvette by Chevrolet ..... you should see ALL your warning lamps light .... the chime should sound 6 times ..... and if you have a HUD then ALL display elements should light during the test.
Have you checked to see if there are any DTC set ????
