Power Steering Bracket?
I am going 8 rib pulley setup with my supercharger kit and upping the boost and I need to replace my 2000 power steering bracket with the newer stronger one so it could handle the hit from 8 rib system.
Local dealer says (quoted $88.XX for the 04 one) that its the same part number for 97 thru 04. I know GM went with stronger bracket on 03 and 04 models. Is the old part number for 97 thru 02 not in production and GM switched to one part number for all years now?
Any pictures of side by side comparison would be awesome!
Anyone know the latest part number for a 2004 C5 or Z06 power steering bracket?

You should just keep what you have and run our fixed idler kit and you will be fine

GM no longer makes the old one. When they came out with the newer one, there was a good reason, so they only offer the new design now. I broke my old one and bought the new one and haven't had an issue since. I spoke with Andy and he said he has never had a customer break one either.
