Charging Sysyem Fault ???

Charging Sysyem Fault ???

I'm sometimes seeing this fault on the DIC when starting the car.Other than my HUD "defaulting " to an oil pressure setting, I haven't yet had any other issues.
Any thing to be concerned about?

The HUD defaults to the Oil Pressure setting when ever the battery is disconnected. Could be anything interrupting the power supply momentarily - have you checked the battery cables?

The only time I ever saw that message on my '99 was minutes before the positive battery post fell off and acid started dripping. Fortunately I was standing there in front of it trying to figure out why I got the message. I would first look at your battery connections.

Charge Faults

Thanks, We'll start with the Battery Connections and see if that solves it.
