Default Power steering quit

I just got finished with my cam swap. I got everything back together and my power steering worked a little at first and now it quit. Do I have air in the lines? any suggestions of what to check?

There's not much to the power steering. It's full of fluid and not foaming right? You used power steering fluid and not tranny fluid? Any possibility you got some small pieces of trash in the lines that ended up in the rack? The pump isn't moaning? You have the pump line on the passenger side of the rack and the cooler or return on the drivers side? Not sure if you can get them reversed, but I gotta ask. Maybe take out the pump and try to flush it out or replace it.

I think I found a kink in the line. I figured that would make it moan though. I am putting it back on jack stands now.

Well a line is bent but it dont look that bad. It is the line that goes to the cooler. Am I wrong i thinking it is not a high pressure line? It goes through the cooler and up to the reservoir. The reseroir has one of those crappy spring clamps on it.

Well it wasnt a pinched line......I guess it was just a little too full. I used a vacuum pump to get all the fluid out of the reservoir started it for just a second, then refilled it and everything is fine

Yes mine was just a little too full or when I siphoned it empty I removed some trash or ? I would give it a shot worst case it costs you some power steering fluid.
