Default Running/signal lights

1. Yes, I did a search. I can't seem to make both words required... so anything with a light shows up.

2. My right/passenger side turn indicator/daytime running light went out. On top of that, it still works occasionally - So I doubt the light is actually burned out.

How do I get to this thing? The front brake duct hole is REALLY tight for my hand...even with butter.

Is there a way to access this from the top? Is there a common cause of the high speed blinkers going off?

HELP!!

How big/skinny are your arms...?

You can access the DRL/Turn signal bulb-plug/wires by raising your headlights and removing the plastic shroud around the headlight assembly and then sticking your arm under the headlight to the signals.

The problem with this is that there is a hood bump stop in the way that constricts arm movement, and its more of a feel-a-round than looking at what you're doing.

You can also access the signals from underneath, but you've got remove lots of plastic/shrouds and move the brake duct out of the way. I only did that when I replaced my entire DRL/signal lens.

Same problem here. My DRL/Turn Signal AND the side marker light are both out with a rapid flasher. (there are two bulbs in the front corner lights right??) Im going to change the bulbs...hopefully that will fix it.

Default good fix found...

There was a post I found on this same topic about ft signal bulbs going out all the time. I had the same miserable problem .....constantly digging in to swap bulbs...on both sides and decided to try the fix.
So far ......great , and brighter bulbs!!
Just replace the pigtails on both sides, and replace the 3157 NA ( amber) bulbs with 4157 NA silvanias.........your done.

It got to the point where I could change a bulb out in 30 seconds. But had red hands and wrists and marks all over for 2 days!!!!!!!
Also developed a high pain threshhold.

I finally took apart the passenger headlight and removed the main headlight lens assembly from the frame. That leaves lots of room to get in there.

The pisser? The problem was the connection in the light bulb socket - not the bulb itself. Work it in and out a few times to clean up the contacts - and all is well.

Since it's apart - I'll replace the bulb and add some dielectric grease to the socket. Water was getting to it - somehow making it into the lens housing.
