Default throttle blade ls2 vs ls6/1

is it just me or does the ls2 tbody blade open the opposite direction of the ls6/ls1

Never really paid attention to it, but mine is probably opening the same as the LS6 because I have my LS2 tb upside down. I would also like to discuss the decrease in throttle response that I've noticed in my LS2 throttle body.

how is it upside down...actually which way is it SUPPOSED To go...if i put mine the other way...the throttle drive would be hitting the PS reservoir....btw just installed my HCI and my Throttle Response SUXXXXXXXXXXXX....need a good tune still

I think they open the same way, i.e. the bottom of the plate comes out. The LS2's actuator points toward the pass. side, the opposite of the LS1-6. It's not upside down, just different.

Mild porting can improve throttle response. Aggresive porting can create tuning problems for some.
