Warped headlight shroud fix
The bulging between the two inboard screws bothered me every time I had my lights up.....so my mind kept looking for a solution to this annoying bulge.
Looking closely at the surrounds (made of way too thin plastic) it seemed obvious that what they needed was am additional piece of plastic on the inside between the screw holes to catch onto the metal top and hold them in.
This would have been so easy to mold into the shrouds during manufacturing............
The next problem was finding such a piece of plastic
Looking around my over cluttered garage I happened to notice these extra wide zip ties that I had laying around. About a 1/4" wide

Looked like it might do. So I measured the space available between the screws and cut a piece of the tie wrap........now how to attach it to the shroud ?
My first attempt was to use trusty silicone seal and clamp them on overnight

Looks ugly on the back.....need to get some black silicone
but it won't show. Here is what it looks like from the front

And mounted in the headlight bucket.......it works

A very cheap fix......IF the silicone holds over time.

Check with Gene at GMPARTSHOUSE.COM
If not the whole shroud is only like $13 per side
