I think someone is pulling your leg. There is no rebuild kit that we have ever heard of.

It's possible that the "rebuild kit" may be four new sensor nuts.

And O-rings, at the very least you need new o-rings but not the new nuts, ck fleabay for the "kit"

I just did it yesterday on 'o2, C5. If you don't have anything that is damaged, you don't need anything.

i just got a set of tires the other day and they said the same thing. i need to get the sensors rebuilt. i thought it was crap but went with it anyway. what was the result of your findings?

Thanks Chuck. in the overall scheme of things i dont mind paying it, but if they are trying to gouge me then i wont go back. all in all im happy with the discount tire shop. This is my first dealings with them.
