Default Master cylinder question!

My clutch pedal feels sort of limp with not much travel in it, and I already had a new clutch/slave put in about a year ago so I am guessing it has to be the master. My only question is, will the master cyl cause the car to not go into gears and grind when it does? Thanks, I am about to go crazy!!!

I've asked this question on here twice. My car has been this way for the whole two years that I have owned it. There is no pedal for the first inch or two. Mine doesn't grind, but I have to be sure and push it all the way to the floor.

I have changed the fluid several times. I used a Might Vac to pull a vacuum on the orifice in the bottom of the fluid reservoir and pumped the clutch to see if there was air trapped in it. It has never changed for the worse of for the better. I figure I'll wait until I need a clutch and start throwing parts at it. Curious to see what you find out.

It does have a very small drip, but I frequently change the fluids. What do you mean by blowing back?

it has a small drip, but its never been low on fluid. I'm hoping it's the master cyl, but I'm wondering how I'm going to bleed it?
