I have a small cut inside my C5. See photo below. Wondering if you have any advice for repairing this, either myself or professionally... I want it to look perfect when it's done, of course.
Below is a photo of my convertible top. I have a slight whistle in my window, where it meets the rubber. The seal is not tight. You can see the rubber doesn't seem to line up right. Any thoughts?
As for the pillar, You can remove it and take it to a good automotive upholstery shop to have it recovered or just look in the parts section here to find a good used one. You might also be able to get an automotive upholstery repair shop to fix it via vinyl repair. I would ask a used car dealer if they have anyone they would recommend. They have vendors come out to do things like that all the time.
You might find a used A-pillar trim piece if you look through the classified forum...there's usually someone who's parting out a car for racing or due to a crash. Or, maybe someone who's added additional gauges to the A-pillar for forced induction might part with theirs.
If it's real small, there are vinyl repair "kits" that allow an owner to do small DIY repairs. They usually have a selection of colors and pads to apply a similar grain pattern.
One such company is called repair-it-all.com. I can't provide you a direct link since they're not a site supporting vendor, so copy and paste and check out their website.

Looks like pretty good stuff for ten bucks. I should give it a try. Worst case is I mess it up and have to get a new pillar or have it recovered, which was probably the plan anyway. Thanks for the tips, guys! -peter
