Default Change plugs and wires?

I have 8yrs/55k miles on my plug wires and 4yrs/25k on the plugs that were put in with the blower.
I'm getting a slight miss/hesitation at 1500-1800rpm. I wonder if plugs and wires wouldn't be prudent at this point?

Thanks,
Randy

I say go ahead and do it!! That is when I changed mine.It seemed to be running OK,, but after the change it was like a whole different car!!! The plugs that came out had gaps all over the place. That probably isn't your case since they've been changed once! With a blower you probably should be changing them by now,as the increased cylinder pressure makes it harder to fire a spark across the gap. Modded motors usually run a little tighter gap for that reason,to compensate for wear!! Let us know how it goes!!

After 8 yrs/55k miles the integrity of all spark plug wires, even ours will start to break down. The increased resistance from the old wires and increased gap of the old plugs will sometimes cause the the spark to find the path of the least resistance, usually the headers. I have noticed that the miss is usually most noticeable at lower rpm. Eventually the miss will be felt through out the entire rpm range and may even cause some codes to be thrown. Just on general principle I would change the plugs and wires with that much use on a blower motor.
Good luck
