Default PCV Fresh Air

So I was on the phone with a vendor....ordering a new bridge and bellow, asked about the PCV fresh air and was told just to run a breather...if we do that...why cant we just cap off the fitting on the intake coming out of the LS6 valley cover?....Seems to me like i would be pulling air into the valve cover via the breather i bought...and it would cycle through and eventually be reintroduced via the valley cover and then to the catch can being injected directly into the intake behind the maf....just looking for further explanation...I like this idea better so I dont have to run ugly home depot lines into the bridge for pcv fresh air

Guess I'm just saying, do what you want to do. I really don't understand the issue with the fresh air intake. I mean, you installed an LS2 throttle body, and an LS2 takes fresh air from the bridge. Whether is looks like some "home depot" mod is purely up to you, because there are a myriad of fittings available to make it look clean/factory. The breather is fine, but it's really more than you need since you are not FI/NOS. The catch can will help, especially if you are making WOT passes at the strip all day, or auto-xing.

guess Im going to do the breather on the oil cap....cap off the nipple on the Valve cover and run a catch can out of the ls6 valley and into the intake with PCV valve in place
