electric problems

Hi everyone.Even though I have been a Member for 2 years I have never asked a question before.so here goes.I have a 1999 coupe with 21m.Recently I have had electical problem.It does not accur all the time,but lately it has.The radio lights on the dash start to flicker and the power seems to go off for a second,and a warning comes on to check the disk brakes and see a dealer soon.Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

In addition to Lucky's questions.. have you checked the obvious stuff like battery terminals, battery, etc?
