Default Need help...

parked car two days ago all was fine. started it today and was idling real rough. pressed gas pedal and didnt respond. turned car off and restarted it sounded normal so i gave it gas it responded a little rpms climbed but sounded like it was missing then it was a rough idle again. still doesnt want to respond to throttle input. scanned codes and there are none. any suggestions???

Many things could cause... but it was running fine then parked.. no changes were made to the car in that time? Maybe try disconnecting the battery and try again.. Kinda hard to diagnose with little info... I would check to make sure that everything between the mass air flow sensor is connected and there are no air leaks like a clamp or connections loosening...

thanks ill check for anything loose in the morning. nothing was done to the car while it was parked... could it be plugs or wires? with no codes or is it a maf or related problem with no codes?

Check what the voltage is on the battery both before you start the engine and after.

i checked it while running - 14v

fixed...maf was disconnected, which is extremely odd as i parked the car didnt touch it, didnt rasise the hood nothing... then i got to start it and maf is loose. i havent touched that part of the car in a year and it just decided to fall off? and while the car was parked? weird anyways glad it is fixed... thanks for the help!!!
