Default HVAC codes HELP!

BO361 is a Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND. I know where all the gnd. locations are located on the car. Does anyone know where this one would be grounded. Also getting a BO363, 365, 367. I suspect the other codes are probally all to do with the bad gnd.

The B0361 says that the left air actuator circuit is lower than 0.09 volts. The B0363 says that the left air actuator circuit is higher than 4.9 volts.

Hmmmm .... and you are getting the same opposing indications for the right actuator also (B0365 and B0367).

The two circuits are grounded back to the HVAC controller itself. The controller is grounded through splice pack SP202 at ground point G202. That ground is at the base of the right side A pillar (forward door frame).

What I'd try first is the following ....

With the ignition OFF remove fuse 27 (10 Amp) from the Instrument Panel fuse block. Keep the fuse removed for over 2 minutes. The time is important because the loss of power will cause the memory in the controller to "drain down" and the controller will have to re-calibrate the actuators when power returns. You should hear the actuators being moved after you replace the fuse as the HVAC controller tries to find the limits of the actuators.

Clear the codes .... drive the car for 5 to 10 minutes and see if they come back.

If you continue to get the codes unfortunately most of the testing requires a Tech2 to read values stored in the HVAC controller (voltage levels being reported by the actuators).

Seems odd that both actuators went out at the same time. Did someone do work inside the dashboard recently ???

Good luck, let us know if pulling the fuse helps at all.

Default Keeps coming back.

I pulled the fuse and waited, put it back and nothing happened. I would run thru the diag. and clear out the codes and I could hear the acu's moving in the dash. The codes would stay gone a little while then come back. The AC works good.

The car only had 5000 miles when I bought it, the only thing I can fine on the history is a Fuel level sensor replacement at 1972 miles. Is that inside the dash?

I discovered that fuse #22 has been removed from the fuse panel. Why would it be removed?

The fuse issue was hit in the other thread you posted on that.

Fuel level sensor is located inside the fuel tank ..... there are two tanks that are inter-connected. Each tank has a "sender" that reports the fuel level to the PCM. The PCM takes the two levels and calculates a "single tank level" which is reported too the IPC and displayed on the fuel gauge. Should indicate which side was replaced.

How much do you want to tear into the dash to fix the HVAC codes ??

Here's a good post on what your next step is .... go to his link and read through what needs to be done.

Default I think I'll let it ride right now.

Thanks Black Z06 for the links, I probally need to index my accu's 2 teeth on the gear. Right now the AC is working fine, so I'm just going to let it be unless it starts blowing different temp. air from one side to the other. I did print all the info. for my records, thanks for helping.
