Ignition shutdown on 2000 C5
I'm new to this site, but I have just had a major problem with my 2000 C5. I went to start it the other day and when I turned the ignition I heard a pop and everything went down. No lights or anything. This car's previous owner had the car for 4 years and only put 3000 miles on it, so it sat for long times.
I had a previous problem with the passenger window but solved it with ya'll's, ( yeah I'm from the South) help thru this forum. Hope someone can help again. Great forum thanks for any and all help.

If charging or replacing the battery doesn't solve the problem, I suggest you look into the "Important Electrical Information" sticky by Bill Curlee at the top of the forum. I had a chronic intermittent no-start the I recently solved with Bill's help. Please keep the forum posted on how things develop.
