Starting problem
2004 A4 with 15,600 miles, Original Battery.
Went to start the car last night. Key did not want to go into ignition switch. Got the other key and cleaned the contacts on both keys. Finally got a key in the switch won’t start. Checked the codes and found the following:
B2723HC, B0516H, U1064H
Put the charger on (bad battery??) Still won’t start. Let it sit for a while tried to start again and factory alarm goes off. Won't turn over.
I let it sit all night with the trickle charge on. This morning tried again, no luck. Tried jumping the battery. No luck. Can get key in switch but now it won’t turn.
Is it the switch? The battery? Or the alarm system?
