Good info on stroker motors!!!

I'm a car nut in general and get other car mags as well as the "Corvette" mags. One of the cover stories In the Oct.08 "Car Craft" magazine is a good spread on Gen III stroker motors.It starts with all the stock bore/stroke #s then dives into a lot of stroker info,,Quoting builders parts sources ,block and long block sources(along with some prices) covers some of the pros and cons of some combos and so on..Interesting and thought provoking (A guy can dream/hope) Got it in "The Library" now and that article is laying open Fir the DIY'ers one "Bang for the buck that jumps out is Scat 383,3.75, stroke at Summit racing,,$1,103.95(Drool here!!) Thought I'd pass it along for all the gear heads and dreamers out there in Forum Land!!

Don't have a link,,Just looked it up in Summit Racing, under 2000 chev. That price is for a balanced assembly with forged pistons forged I beam rods ,molly rings,bearings ans cast crank. Same kit not balanced was $885.95!
