Problem #1: When I'm on the road I have this kinda whistling noise coming from what appears to be the passenger side of my windshield. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a remedy. Please help me on this, I hope it's not serious and I would hate to take it to dealer to get it fixed.
Problem #2: When I warm my car up and leave it running with heat on, I have funny smell inside. It is almost like fumes.
Problem #3: When iturn the heat on or A/C, nothing comes out of vents. A slight breeze comes out and I hear the fan blowing. I hear the fan changing speeds when I increase or decrease it, but nothing comes out of vents, any of them. What is my problem here and what can I do.
Problem #2 and #3 might be related, I need some help on these problems, so somebody please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL :)
Hey Mark,
They may ALL be related. It sounds like it may possibly be a disconnected vaccuum hose or something related. This would operate the heating and ventilating systems which in turn opens and closes the "doors" that direct air flow. The whistling also might be the "open circuit" ,so to speak, in the system. It's just a guess, but it's a place to start. Check out all the vaccuum connections under the hood, and what you can access under the dash. HTH
Re: **HELP*** Strange whistling sound!!!! (Mikie C)
Hey Mikie thanks, I spoke to Dave from Cartek and he said that it might be some vacumm hose form manifold that may have popped off. Thanks for th input, will have it checked out. BTW: do know exactly where this hose is located?
