Only if you want to double your gains and the throttle response from the swap....LOL

Yep....that might give you a clue....LOL

Ive worked with a local clutch company for some time now (over 18 months till we produced the first prototype of the final design) on what I consider to be the ultimate twin disc clutch set-up. Having owned MANY clutches I was familiar with all the trade offs and high and low points each one offered. I was confident with enough time invested a true no compromise clutch could be created and as such pleaded with Rob (the owner and founder of RPS) to take me seriously and try to build one. We used my personal C5 as the prototype vehicle and after a few different revisions to the original design we finally nailed it. Smooth engaging (zero chatter), not an on-off mouse trap engagement (you can even slip it on a hard launch so it doesnt hit the tires violently), perfectly balanced (bye bye shifter vibration), wont wear out prematurely (carbon on carbon hardly wears at all), low inertia lightweight design (more power to the rear wheels), and easy to get off a fast clean shift (excellent plate departure), and also no noise whatsoever when you push in the clutch at a stop light (another pet pieve of mind which was worse with some dual disc designs than others). Its also a strapless design (the pressure plate) so you dont have to worry about them failing if you roadrace and are on and off the throttle alot. The only negative....(you knew this was coming)....is they are a bit pricey but honestly for a true carbon/carbon light weight clutch with all the refinement this set-up offers its the best money you will ever spend. It will change the entire personality of your car and make you want to drive it more if your dealing with a clutch that has some of the negatives about it I mentioned above.

Feel free to PM me if you guys need more info....as Rick touched on they are not a sponsor yet but I have discussed him getting on board.

Cheers,
Tony

Nice seeing you too Steve.

Boy, I hope this clutch decision doesn't take 2 years like the cam decision did It really sucks driving that car with the stock clutch, you would think if you didn't know me that I was some stupid woman that didn't know how to drive a stick I stall it continually

Hey Bill make a decision would ya and then install it before the end of the year!!
