I just got finished installing LG headers on my 04 Z06,went to test drive it and it runs very rough and slugish.I need to find out how to read codes? Any help with this problem is GREATLY apperceive. Thanks in advance Dale
It's quite possibly your O2 sensors. If you kept all four, then you probably have your rear's hooked up backwards. The drivers side sensor should be plugged into the wiring coming from the passenger side and vice versa.
If you left your rear sensors out, did you move the original rear sensors to the front positions? These ones are hooked up drivers side to drivers side, with the provided harness.
The other thing to check is that you have you cats installed properly (if you ran cats). The 'slit' in the pipe should be facing the front of the car.
If none of that stuff, go back and triple check everything that you removed during the installation.
Thanks for the advice I will get back under the car and recheck the connection on the sensors and make sure that I did not cross them up when I hooked them up to the sensors.Yes it also is idling rough.Though it was a plug wire off,but they are ok. Thanks again for the help.
ok,I looked at the o2 wiring and they were crossed!swaped them around but still will not idle correctly, pulled up the codes 28tcc c1222h and 10pcni it looked like 10pcm but I did not see on the code list, they look like drivevtrain codes not engine codes. Thanks again for any help!

Did you remove the plugs when you installed the headers???? If not,,you could have cracked an insulator. Been there done that. That the FIRST place I would check. Remove each plug and check for cracks.
