Complete C5 long tube header package available soon!
This kit includes 1 3/4" long tube headers, 2 off-road pipes, an x-pipe, intermediate pipes (which are all ceramic coated) along with 2 cats. It is designed to bolt up to any muffler back system. The car that this package was tested on picked up 27 rwhp and 23 rwtq. The only mod done was this header package. The clamps used have a V-flange which will allow you to switch from cats to offroads in about 30 minutes. This will make it alot easier to pull the cats off for track use and then swap the converters back in for the street. Pricing for this package is $1649.99 and you can save $50. by placing your order on our website.

Please educate me, who is FLP?
Looks like a great system, would you have to use the O(2) sims when not using the cats?
Many of us A4 guys, who have a little more hp let FLP rebuilding our tranny.
I wanna say they are the best. I´m vwry happy with my FLP tranny.
Exhausts is what they can do also, as you see.
And yes, you will need the 02sims when you delete the cats.

I have read and seen many articles stating Cat removal didnt increase HP. One article dynoed showed a drop in HP without the cats, not enough back pressure.

Tom,
This isn't a flame against you brother, so please don't take it as such. I'm glad you're offering them. But did FLP ever come up with an explanation as to WHY their C5 setup is about $400 more than their F-body setup? I can't stand price gouging... There's two LT headers in each, two high-flow cats in each, two off-road pipes in each, and basically a little extra pipe in our "H" pipe setup as opposed to the F-body's "Y" pipe setup. But $400??? If FLP can explain why that is, then I might still be interested in them. But without the explanation, I see it as price gouging.

FYI: FLP posted a message on LS1.com (GP section) for $1299 to the first 25 buyers of this system. Not too many people have replied.
I agree with you 100% on the price gouging. :nono:
Re: Complete C5 long tube header package available soon! (RoliO)
I saw this set up at the Route 66 show this fall and it looked top notch. I really like the clamps and the fact that you can do the install without any welding. I don't feel the price is outrageous considering the flexability of the setup. I had quite a few hours time involved in installing my TTS longtubes between cutting the pipes in front of the cats and the fitting and the welding and ......besides, everything is more expensive for the Corvette than the f-body's. I know, because I had a 98 T/A.....Good luck in what ever set up you guys pick. This one looks about the best of them all just a little salty on price.

Check my dyno for before and after off road setup to confirm this is false.

Hi Chris,
FLP didn't say why they are more expensive than the f-body headers but some Corvette parts usually are more expensive. One way to look at is a manufacturer of brand "X" may make a certain part for the f-body and Corvette. There usually is alot of research/development and trail/error in designing new products so they equals costs that must be figured into the price. F-bodys tend to be modified more than Corvettes so the manufacturer may plan on selling 2000 parts for the f-body but only 800 for the Corvette so more of the R&D cost would have to be figured into the price.
Not saying that this is the reason for their higher price but just one possibility.
